This year’s Irish conference concentrated on construction arbitration. The opening panel of society vice-chairman Hamish Lal, Ben Patten QC & Roger Ter Haar QC looked at the issue of construction insurance disputes. The middle panel of John Trainor SC, Dr David Sharpe QC SC and Margaret Austin looked at domestic & international construction arbitration and Gary Born closed the event looking at the past, present and future of arbitration.
