Mentoring Scheme

The SCL is pleased to offer a Mentoring Scheme for all members. The programme connects mentors and mentees across the construction industry and aims to support SCL members in their professional development in the early stages of their career. We encourage members with up to 6 years’ post-qualification experience (or up to 6 years’ experience in a new field) to apply as mentees, whilst members with more than 6 years’ experience are encouraged to sign up as mentors.

The SCL Mentoring Scheme runs once per year, approximately from May to November. Potential mentor and mentees must submit their applications by 29 March 2024 to be considered for this year’s programme. Applications received after this date will be considered for the 2025 round.

The programme’s continued success is entirely dependent on the participation of the SCL’s members, so we thank you for considering your contribution to the SCL Mentoring Scheme – either as mentor or mentee.
