Challenges to CPO Arbitration and Process: Views from Dublin and London

Gregory Jones Q.C (Francis Taylor Buildings, London) and Dermot Flanagan S.C (Law Library, Dublin) gave an overview of recent trends in Compulsory Purchase Orders. Recent CPO related cases from both jurisdictions such as Persimmon Homes Limited v Hillier and ors [2018] EWHC 221 (Ch) and ESB v Boyle [2019] IEHC 475 were considered. Both panellists endeavoured to cover the sub-topics of the wider area which most frequently arise in construction law.
