Peter Scott Caldwell looks at FIDIC's Conditions of Contract for Construction for Building and Engineering Works designed by the Employer, Multilateral Development Bank harmonised edition, published in March 2006 (which is based on FIDIC's 1999 Red Book). The paper looks at some of the more important features and some of the more unusual clauses, considering both the differences from the Red Book and the first, March 2005 edition, where appropriate.
