Louise is a Partner and Head of Brodies Contentious Construction team. She is an accredited specialist in Construction Law, dual qualified in both English and Scottish Law. Louise is highly regarded by her clients and colleagues alike for her commercial awareness, technical ability and work ethic. Louise regularly represents clients in all forms of dispute avoidance and dispute resolution for high profile, complex disputes, both during the delivery of the project and post completion of the works. Louise is currently engaged in some of the largest, most technically complex construction, engineering and energy disputes in the UK.

Caroline is a chartered quantity surveyor, quantum expert witness and adjudicator with experience working for contractors on complex civil engineering projects across highways, major earthworks, power, water, hydro, rail and regeneration sectors. Caroline also provides commercial advice on distressed projects, supporting clients to resolve or progress disputes and she provides adjudication support services. Caroline is a keen advocate of encouraging greater diversity in adjudication and the core construction professions.

Gerry Brannigan is a Partner and FTS Growth Development Lead at HKA. Gerry is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of CIBSE with 25 years’ experience. Since 2012, he has been appointed as a technical expert witness on more than 50 occasions in building services engineering (MEP) and multi-disciplinary design management. He has been appointed on several complex construction disputes globally, providing oral evidence at arbitrations, adjudications, and dispute adjudication boards.

Scott Johnston is a partner at Pinsent Masons, based in Aberdeen. He manages and resolves domestic and international engineering and construction disputes and is accredited as a specialist in construction and engineering law. Scott advises clients operating in the energy and infrastructure sectors, focussing particularly on offshore construction and marine engineering in the oil and gas and renewables spheres. Scott is qualified in Scotland, England and New South Wales, Australia.
