For some events, only SCL members are permitted to register - this is stated with the event. Please contact our administrative office with any queries.

If you need to pay by cheque, please download the flyer and send in the booking form by post.

SCL Astra Scotland – Site Visit, University of Glasgow

SCL Astra is delighted to invite members and non-members to a site visit of the Multiplex Construction, University of Glasgow’s James McCune Smith Learning Hub project.

When complete, the building will provide a state of the art learning and teaching facility with the capacity for over 2,500 students. Construction work started at the end of October 2017 and is due to be completed in the academic year 2019/20. It is the first building to be delivered through the University of Glasgow’s campus development programme and is named after the first African American to be awarded a medical degree, receiving an MD from the University of Glasgow in 1837. SCL Astra membership (formerly known as Junior SCL) is open to any SCL member who is new to the world of construction law.
