Unless marked otherwise, the meetings are free to members and their guests.

For some events, only SCL members are permitted to register - this is stated with the event. Please contact our administrative office with any queries.

If you are going to pay for an event, you will need to be logged in before going through checkout. If you do not have an account on this website, you can create one.

If you need to pay by cheque, please download the flyer and send in the booking form by post.

The Society of Construction Law aims to ensure that people have equal access to our events.  If you need alternative formats or other reasonable adjustments, please contact one of the SCL Administrators (Jill Ward or Frances Whitehead) with your request so that arrangements, where possible, can be made.  Please note that any arrangements will have to depend on the nature of the venue and what can be done.

SCL Astra Breakfast Seminar - panel discussion

SCL Astra presents a breakfast seminar panel discussion on the evaluation and analysis of the dispute resolution options available to the construction industry, and their future trends . The event features an interactive panel discussion with three leading construction law practitioners, who will share their experience from the differing perspectives of in-house counsel, decision-maker, and counsel. The discussion will include consideration of the benefits and drawbacks of various dispute resolution forums, proposed adaptations and improvements to those forums, and consideration of the future challenges in dispute resolution.

The breakfast seminar will be held online between 9.00am and 10.00am. There will be opportunity for the audience to ask questions and to participate in audience polls. Joining instructions will be e-mailed to participants on Wednesday afternoon.

Please note this event is open to SCL Members only and will attract 1 CPD hour unless otherwise advised at the beginning

We invite you to get comfortable (in your own home), perhaps with a glass or two of your choice, and take part in our first online quiz, via Zoom.  There will be a Champagne prize for the winners! You may book up to midnight on April 27th.

SCL Astra membership (formerly known as Junior SCL) is open to any SCL member who is new to the world of construction law.
