Appropriate Dispute Resolution in Asia: The Singapore Approach

Joint Event between the Society of Construction Law, the Adjudication Society and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators


Justice Philip Jeyaretnam will speak about the role of the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC) in relation to international arbitrations seated in Singapore, and the Court’s protocols with the Singapore International Mediation Centre and the new INTEGRAF (Integrated Appropriate Dispute Resolution Framework) scheme. More generally, he will speak about transnational commercial disputes in the Asian context, including by reference to recent decisions of the Singapore Court of Appeal.

The talk will be followed by a complimentary light lunch and the opportunity for networking.

This meeting is free of charge to Members of SCL, the Adjudication Society or Ciarb and their guests but registration is required. (Please note that bookings must be made online for this event, and SCL will not take bookings by email)
