Papers

The Society has published about 250 papers since 1984. Some are published both in hard copy and electronically (numbered), others in electronic format only (number prefixed 'D'). The hard copy papers can be purchased (except those marked with an asterisk which are no longer available). They are all also available as PDF files for viewing online and to download (except those published before 2000). Those available online/as downloads can be accessed free by full and overseas members and registered academics (students and staff). Others can purchase the PDF file for a cost of £2.50 - more details. To obtain access, you must be logged into this website: for further instructions click here. The PDF file will only open on your computer if you have Adobe Acrobat installed (to obtain a free copy, click here). To save the paper to your computer, choose the 'save' icon on the Acrobat toolbar before opening the paper.

You may view a list of papers on a particular topic. Choose your category from the drop down list, and click on 'Apply'. If you want to search for a word in the paper titles, or by author name (part word will work), type your word in the appropriate box and click on 'Apply'. If you have permission to download papers in PDF format (i.e. you are a member, or an academic visitor) you can search the full text of the papers here.
