This talk will consider the impact of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 in the construction industry and, in particular, the continued popularity of collateral warranties in the market.

This annual seminar is for those considering specialising in construction and for junior or recently appointed staff encountering construction issues for the first time. It provides a general introduction to many of the widely encountered principles, as well as identifying some current ‘hot topics’.

The Society of Construction Law (Singapore) in conjunction with the SIAC are holding the joint conference "Construction Disputes Asia - Evolution or Revolution?" The Conference will bring together APAC regional experts and leading arbitration practitioners from the construction and engineering industry to discuss recent developments, issues and cases.
